Yes, it is mandatory. The registration of guests is mandatory by Organic Law 4/2015 of March 30, for the protection of citizen security, in its article 25, it obliges those who carry out certain activities to carry out a documentary registry of users, among which are find places of accommodation. Cancellations will be free if they are made before 14 days prior to the day of arrival.

Cancellation within 14 days is non-refundable.
